Car display in a courtyard with mirrors reflecting a white building

The Future Legacy.

Salone del Mobile Milan.

Jaguar, 2019

Designers : Andrea Rosati, Anna Abell.

This installation reflects Jaguar’s Britishness, beyond and against stereotypes. Our design is positive, contemporary, and global. It talks about equality, creative anarchy, irony and progress. New Jaguar XE is the perfect hero of our manifesto.

Inspired by four paradigms of British creativity, we merged together ‘Historical Paradoxes’, ‘Uncanny Visions’, ‘No-gender Elegance’ and ‘Future Craftsmanship’. Honouring our legacy, whilst pioneering change.

The Exhibit was designed to be an exploration of Jaguar’s design identity and Britishness. The installation showcased the new Jaguar XE in its rawest form, highlighting its components in a unique and individual manner.

The exhibition was designed as a game of reflections, allowing visitors to re-evaluate Jaguar's design philosophy. It led them on a journey through the brand's legacy and its forward-looking vision. The deconstructed silhouette of the new car, along with redesigned components placed around the space, invited guests to reconstruct the vehicle using mirrored surfaces. This approach accentuated space and highlighted intricate details, creating an immersive and thought-provoking experience.
